Since retiring after teaching horsemanship for forty years I have been writing full time in order to pass on what I've learned about animals, people and how to teach them. My newest book, Horses, will be out January 15, 2009.
My husband and I have two adult children and two grandchildren.

I've been writing ever since I first learned how. Most of my published work has been in the form of articles for magazines, newspaper columns and non-fiction books.

Midnight Intruder All alone, late one night, I couldn't sleep and decided to do some serious house cleaning. I got into the cleaning mode and at one point had my back door propped open so I could sweep sand back outside. This was on a ranch down in South Texas and sand is always a problem.
