I am a writer who enjoys the act of placing words on a sheet of paper. If I am driving and I have a thought I search the dash board or my purse for a pen and paper. I write poems, have taken a creative writing class. I have a writing that was published in the anthology for the class. I have poems on Poetry.com and Helium. Some of my poems have been published in anthologies for Poetry.Com. I only bought one of there books it was for my mother, she loves poetry.
My writing is often about my family and who we are. Sometimes it is about loss of a family member. Sometimes it is about someones achievement, sincerity, or love. Actions of little ones amaze me and enter my writing often. I began a journal of letters to my sister when she passed. I write her letters in it.
I have researched our family line, and still have more to go. Each time I sit down to find new information, I find someone who is related to me doing the same thing. We all write about it.
I can not remember very many days that I have not wanted to write or written. When I was very young one of my teachers told me she thought I might become a poet. I still write poetry. I used to hide my writing because it is very personal to me. I didn't want people to know what I thought or felt. Now I write, I share, and I enjoy both.

Puddles for Fishin' Puddles for Fishin' after the rain. He held out the pole that came off his train. Although, he didn't own one all the same. A pole he created off his train. Outside in the driveway he lowered the pole in. Red jacket on the outside and his hat coverin' his chin. He raised it higher than his head you know. Lowering the pole slowly as low as it would go. Intensely working, his task at hand. Raising his pole, whoa no fish again. Playing all afternoon not big as a minute. The puddle big enough, and his voracious grin. Bringing out my old camera, I got several great shots. A ...
