Terry Weber, at age 17(in 1945), joined the United States Navy a few months before the end of WWII. He spent 3 adventure filled years in the Navy. When he enlisted, the Navy gave (issued to) him the first Bible he'd ever seen. Soon after reading his Bible, he became a Christian. Today, he is a semi-retired advertising, sales and marketing guy. He is an award winning sales letter writer and also a creative advertising copywriter and the former owner of a direct mail advertising business that he ran for many years. Over the years many clients relied on him for numerous advertising, writing and mailing services. He has sold his own inventions via mail order and has continued to invent, carve, write and paint nautical scenes during his retirement.
He has written a book with the title: "Anchors Of Faith." Current activities include: Taking care of his website of Weber Originals (see below), doing nautical paintings carving shorebirds, inventing and (of course) sailing.
During the past 9 years Terry and his wife Doris (leaving eleven grown children behind) were active volunteers as RV-Care-A-Vanners, working with Habitat For Humanity. They were leaders of many two-week builds in a number of states across the USA. During builds they worked as team members with other RV-Care-A-Vanners to help build modest new homes for low income families. There is no government support for Habitat, and the new owners of the houses get a no-interest mortgage and no down payment is required. Meeting and working with the other RV-Care-A-Vanner couples as well as many new Habitat home owner families was a wonderful and unexpected extra benefit of this volunteering. Today, due to high gasoline costs, we have parked the RV. When prices and health permit, we hope to do more builds.
Terry's most recent inventions are:(1) the Weber Denture Liner kit (Pat.Pend.), (2)his two new sleep masks: The Original Disposable Sleep Mask and the No-Light Sleep Mask with a unique washable cover insert to keep mask clean. These and his other creations can be seen on Terry's website: www.OriginalsByWeber.com

Right now! I'm living in that little "dash" between 1927 - and (20-?)
My inspiration ...
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, "Wow, what a ride!"
What does age have to do with creativity? You may think you are too old to do anything creative with your life. If so, read the following facts: GIUSEPPE VERDI wrote Falstaff when he was eighty his best opera. BENJAMIN FRANKLIN invented the bifocal lens when he was seventy-eight. FRANK LOYD WRIGHT completed the Guggenheim Museum one of his masterpieces, when he was ninety-one years of age MICHELANGELO was painting and striking frescoes in the Pauline chapel of the Vatican at eighty-nine. SO, the ability to change things around us and thus contribute to the culture may actually increase in ...
