: About Me

I am a native of Greensboro, NC, born and raised, and have lived here most of my life. I started writing when I was in an abusive marriage. Writing seemed to bring me peace. It allowed me an escape from my real world. I am also the Executive Director of an organization which produces stage plays; Reaching All Worlds, Inc.

I have been writing plays for the past 5 years and I have also written songs, poems, and monologues. Along with these, I have written three short films, one of which received the Best Feature Film Award in Yanceyville, NC. My passion is writing and helping others. I am glad to be a part of Helium.
