About me - Anna Yaguexta

About me

I am currently working on my Master's of Arts in Teaching degree and hope to become a teacher within the next year. I would love to teach reading or English, since my undergraduate work was based in literature and composition. I would like to teach any grade between sixth and ninth. I honestly believe that middle school is often the last place you can save students. After they cross the line to high school it becomes much more difficult.

Writing has and always be a passion for me. What do I love to write about? Since my major was in American and British Literature, I love to write about - you guessed it - literature. Now that I am in education, I think I should expand my articles into that area. Therefore, you will mostlikely be seeing more articles on education than literature from this point on. :-)

His cinematic techniques, symbolism, poetics, and tragic dealing with the human condition have made several of his plays American classics, which continue to appeal to audiences and readers nationwide. Creator of the "plastic theatre," Williams first used these techniques in The Glass Menagerie, his first commercial success, which opened in 1944.
