About me - Kathryn Sayre

About me

My name is Kathryn. I live in a small town in Washington and go to high school in the next town over. I enjoy music and writing. Beyond school work, those two things run my life. I play harp and sing in my high school's top choir. I'm looking forward to a choral tour taking us up to Victoria, British Columbia.

In the slightly distant future I hope to attend Yale University, American University, or New York University [in that order]. I plan to study English and become a journalist and ultimately a novelist. Until then, I take as many advance classes as possible, with hopes of obtaining a 4.0 GPA every semester from now on, and ultimately a 3.8 accumulated GPA. Which means I study, study, study non-stop. I feel blessed when I stay up until only 11:00 working on English homework. It's hard and very fast paced, but so definitely work it.

Before taking a digital photo class last year, I was not good at telling the difference between a good photo and a bad one. Now, though, not only can I tell the difference, I can help you create a good photo. There are a few basic tips I have for ensuring a quality photo no matter how good you are at taking them. 1. Use the strap at all times. Your camera is, most likely, expensive and dropping it from any height can cause damage. Remember to take as much care taking a myspace angle as you would taking a picture while leaning over the side of a bridge. 2. Keep the camera still. I know it's...
