: About Me

I'm 56 y.0. Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Evangelist, Published Poet, LPN, Gospel Song Writer, and Gospel Soloist. My passion is caring for the Elderly and the Disabled. I enjoy meeting other writers, poets, and gospel singers.

I've worked as an LPN for 25 years giving a caring hand to the sick and the injured also worked as an Administrator for a Home Care Agency and a Residential Care Facility for four years eight months. Now I'm getting ready to open my own Home Care, Adult Day Care, and Residential Care Facility.

I've worked as a volunteer for Rape Crisis Center for one/half years because I was a victim of rape at the age of 13 and I felt I could identify with victims of rape. The reason I decided to volunteer I knew what they would be facing and I wanted to make a difference in their lives.

I've also worked as a volunteer with Guardian Ad Li-um, an organize that worked with Child Protective Service we worked hard for the welfare of the child. We wanted to see to it that they stay as close to their families while in Foster Care. My heart beat is the children just this July my 6 y.o. grandson and his 4 y.o. bother were being ABUSED and we did not know it, but we are now actively working to get custody of the 6 y.o. who is my grandson. His 4 y.o. brother and him share the same biological mother.

To go in the military, I never did. Why? Because my uncle was in the Army and he said that was not a place I needed to be. He was a SSg at the time.

Why I write ...

I write because it allows me to express myself when no one else will listen. It is a gift God has given me and I use it to His glory.
