Not much to tell about me. I have a wonderful husband, 5 beautiful children, 3 grandchildren and 1 on the way. I volunteer with my local humane society animal shelter and support many animal rights groups. I read and research constantly. I am secretary of the children's primary at my church. All of my children are grown and on their own, so it is just me, my husband, my mother and all of my baby kitties. I have been disabled about 3 years now due to back problems and numerous surgeries, but, I haven't given up yet. All in all I have a good life. Living in the deep south isn't such a picnic right now, but, I'll take it over cooler climates any day.

About 2 to 3 weeks before Christmas me, my sister and brother, my mother and my grandmother would build this beautiful winter wonderland of lighted decorations and we had candles in every window in the apartment. Me, my sister and my brother were in charge of decorating the tree and I have to tell you, it was a little lopsided.. Mother and Grandmother never said a word, just told us how beautiful it was. On the night before Christmas, we helped bake cookies for Santa, of course we got to taste test these cookies just to make sure that Santa would love them. We would...
