The summer of 2007 is in nearing its inevitable conclusion. The days are becoming shorter and when the wind blows just right, I swear you can smell football in the air. I've always anticipated September with a joyful uncertainty. I remember standing at the end of my driveway, decked out in my new Levi's, waiting for the bus and thinking "This year is gonna be different!
