I don't underestimate former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney; he may win the GOP presidential nomination. He may even be the next president. However, as an evangelical Christian, I don't see myself punching Romney's name on a ballot anytime soon. If Romney bests the rest of his Republican rivals in the primaries, his success won't be because the evangelical Christian voting block coalesced behind him as the social conservative candidate.
