I'm a freelance writer working on my first fiction novel. I'm also an experienced immigration attorney with my own law practice (www.ayersimmigration.com). My other passions include marine biology, travel, photography, music, books, and movies. I have a B.A. in English from Duke and a J.D. from USC.
I can't explain in words (which is rare) how thrilled I am to have my first child, a daughter born on January 27, 2008! New motherhood is overwhelming; a leap into the unknown that can only be understood through experience.
My personal philosophies: choice is the key to happiness, change is the only constant, and life is a great adventure. Live your dreams! I'm trying to live mine.
