: About Me

Currently, I'm an International Management major at Butler University, in Indianapolis, IN. I live on my own, and have since I moved out right after graduation from high school. I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and still consider it to be my home, though Indy is growing on me. I'll be 22 in January - I don't feel that old, especially being around the "younger" college crowd. I don't drink, btw - poison isn't my first choice in entertainment.

I have a boyfriend; we'll be celebrating our first anniversary soon, though we've been friends for years. We met online; that's a testament to my life on the internet. He introduced me to Messianic Judaism, and we attend service together on friday nights. Also, we study Hebrew every tuesday night; that's my fourth language, after French and Spanish.

Though it's been hard to fit into new routines since moving to Indy, I like spending time with friends and generally try to keep myself as insanely busy as possible. Growing up in Anchorage, I never needed to drive, but I started driver's ed last summer. Still don't have a license, though.
When I'm not in class, at work, st service, or driving my instructors off the wall, I'm a huge dork. Actually, I'm a dork even when I *am* in class, but sometimes I can hide under a professional veneer. ;D I'm one of those people who insists that fantasy and sci-fi are two different genres, thinks country music has no flair (and rap has no soul), and argues over whether Dungeons and Dragons 3ed/3.5 is better or worse than 2ed. I play World of Warcraft (an MMORPG) when I have the time (and money... and machine...), which isn't often, but it's a good way to keep in touch with my friends all over the world.
I'm not a neat-freak, but when I get stressed, I start cleaning things up. I throw memorable parties, love experimenting in the kitchen, and take pride in being feminine without being ultra-girly. I try to keep my nose out of politics (though lately my boyfriend likes to drag me into it by my ears), but I'll gladly discuss anything with anyone, anytime. Brutal honesty is the code I live by; that, and the three f's: A friend before a foe, friends first and foremost, and friendship forever. :D

I've heard it said that to a child, everything is either the greatest thing in the universe, or the end thereof. It's true, as far as I can tell.
