I was told on my wedding day that once I returned from my honeymoon, I would stop believing in "happily ever after". That reality and responsibility would seep it's way into my marriage and that gratifying pleasure just from being near each other would eventually fade. Yet after nearly eight years, that hasn't come to pass. Seeing my husband from across the room, snuggling next to him on the couch and being out with him at new places still holds the same excitement, the same thrill as it did in those first few months of togetherness. How have I managed to stay so happy after all these year...
