My pen name here is Kieran Tale Weylin. I also go by InkyLink, which is my costuming alias online. I'm 23 years old and I live in southern Wisconsin. I play videogames and watch tons of movies, I make elaborate costumes with my friends who do the same and take on custom leather commissions in spare time.

As of now, 2 of the 3 things I have posted are from 4+ years ago from my Creative Writing class in High School. I would really like to get back into writing since I haven't done much of it lately. If I were better at plot development, I would like to write a novel someday. However, the little excerpts you read are pretty much all I come up with. It doesn't go anywhere else from there. The "Sci-fi" article is the new one, but it didn't really have any real sci-fi elements to it yet, so it just sounds like current day. Maybe I'll leapfrog that one someday, but I really want to redo my Horror story as well. So take my stories with a grain of salt, again they're old but thankfully still doing well in the ratings. I know there are errors and a few places sound odd or strange but I just haven't gotten around to editing them yet. Thanks for reading :D

My childhood ambition ...

I wanted to do so many things as a child. I couldn't really narrow it down. I wanted to be a writer, an architect, a videogame concept artist, a CSI, a Private Investigator, a fashion designer, a costume designer, and a sword smith. Not much has changed. I still don't know what I want to do because I want to do them all.

My favorite memory ...

Autumn as a child. I was such a dumb kid, and I really acted very stupidly, but I always had a deep respect for Autumn. The rest of the year I would be a fool, but something about the fall brings out contemplation for those willing to reflect. Autumn still gets me very excited. I live for it.

Why I write ...

I read very cool stories or see very cool places and get great ideas. I'm also very technical about writing, really detail oriented. It's a lot of fun for me to write that way. ^_^

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Currently I'm pretty big into Dexter and Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth series, because I loved the book so much.

My inspiration ...

William Gibson is a big one. His attention to detail is what inspires me the most. I also am inspired by J.K. Rowling, though I don't really absorb her writting style, it more just motivates me. Another writer I've just become a fan of recently is Ken Follet. He has such a direct writing style than when I'm reading his work, I always forget I'm reading instead of, say, remembering a story in detail. He is probably my new favorite all around writer in any genre.
