I grew up the youngest in a family of eight children and am still trying to be loud enough to be heard.
Writing has always made me happy but I have had little time, until recently, to pursue such a solitary hobby.
Now, I am a middle-aged wife, and have three grown children of my own. My family and I all live in Australia.
During my mothering years, I also trained and worked as a full-time chef, eventually managing a popular restaurant. Any writing I did during this time were menus, recipes and costings.
All this on top of the biggest job of all: caring for our severely disabled son.
Life is easier these days as I have retired from the work-force, giving me time for Helium and other writing projects.
