Born in Greenville, SC McGuire has lived in Pittsburgh, PA, Waco, TX, New Orleans, LA, San Diego, CA, Navuso, Fiji, Elbert and Gypsum, CO, the Caribbean, Ireland, and many other places; he's traveled and worked in many more as well. He has served in the Navy and attended Carnegie Mellon University, Bryan College, and Baylor University. In his lifetime he has been a hardware store clerk, a key cutter, a waiter, a writer, a painter, an actor, a barn manager, a vet tech, a head wrangler, a sailor, a soldier, a teacher, a coach, a lacrosse player and many many other things.
McGuire has always taken a pride in the things he's done in life adhering to the belief that the things you do today are what make you who you will be tomorrow.
The question of whether or not Minimum Wage is fair is rather subjective isn't it? And, the answer relies very much on the locale. I have been fortunate enough in life to live and work all over this world of ours, but I will focus on two places in particular only because in these two places I worked for minimum wage: Waco, Texas and Vail Valley, Colorado.
