Heather is a writer born and raised on the Southeastern shore of Connecticut, transplanted into the Adirondack mountains of Upstate New York. Her passions and interests are almost without limit, but the greatest ones include Yoga, her Buddhist studies, reading, writing, meditation, animals, vampire literature and movies, and not letting politics or the violence and hatred in the world drive her crazy.
She loves to travel and learn new things - if she could she would be a perpetual/professional student with limitless semesters abroad. Her ultimate dream is to teach Creative Writing in an adult education or community college environment, while still nurturing her own writing. Above and beyond all her other work, she is unashamed to be a pulpy paranormal romance/dark fantasy writer, and has a number of books and novellas published.
Heather holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Women's Studies from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, and bucketloads of credits in subjects from classic literature to community counseling and philosophy. She has been writing professionally since 2004, but wrote for joy for as long as she can remember.
Her writing blog can be found at http://hafowler.livejournal.com, where there is a link to her writing website. Please feel free to drop her an email - she loves to chat!
