My passion is ...
the betterment of the wireless industry and empowering people, especially those who are young, have limited experiences or lack understanding of how to access resources
I know too much about ...
wireless 'administration' and creative & resourceful marketing
My parents always told me ...
if you want to be a powerful person you must empower others (mom); as a teenager and a young adult to 'make money not babies' (dad)
My childhood ambition ...
even until I was a senior in high school I always said I wanted to coach the Washington Redskins Football Team. Boy could they use me now, lol.
My favorite memory ...
Spending an unexpected afternoon with my mentor M.P. I got to experience 'informally' first hand how 'legends' are made.
Why I write ...
History belongs to those who write it and I want to help create history not just exist in it.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
I spent time in Prague in winter 2006 and I hosted friends from Prague summer 2007 so these days I am enjoying Czech dark literature i.e. the works of Kafka. I love books and spend a crapload of money acquiring rare and first edition ones. I haven't owned a TV since June 1990 (see Requiem for a Dream). And my ipod has all of 53+ songs acquired over 3+ years :) The only song I can remember right off the top is Hampsterdance.
My first job ...
I was a cashier in the garden section of my hometown K-Mart. Even though it was 'retail' I always thought there was some tranquility working with those 'people of the earth' who spent endless hours manicuring their yard.
My best moment ...
is when I wake up each morning and see that all around me is *alive*
My inspiration ...
I can find inspiration in anything AND everything.
Cell phone companies should NOT be permitted to hold customers to contracts because what many people often fail to realize is cellular phone service is very much like a 'utility'. It is a 'public service' just the same as if you have a regular land line telephone bill, a gas bill, an electric bill or a water bill. Each month you receive a recurring bill for a set fee based on the amount of 'public space' i.e. airtime minutes you use. Regardless of your cellular provider, you also pay a collective 17% across the board in associated local and state taxes, industry regulated fees and such whi...
