I am a person that can see the dark sides of life a yet still remain positive. I keep the darkness on paper and the light in my mind and heart. I believe that writing is the best form of release, for all emotions.

I have many passions besides writing. I would have to say at this point in my life watching my newborn son grow is my largest.

My brain is full of useless movie trivia. However, I do know quite a bit about children and child development.

Talent was in my fingertips. Like most children I was told that I could achieve anything I put my mind to.

To grow up as strong a woman as my mother.

The look on my husband's face the first time we saw our son.

Why I write ...

To release feelings I can't vocalize. Writing is not what I do but who I am.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

At the moment I am listening to John Mayer. His lyrics are very calming, I find that listening to more relaxing music while writing helps stimulate my mind.

I worked with a company that helped street youth and families

My best moment ...

When I was 16 I went to Arles and sat in a cafe that was the setting for a very famous painting by Vincent Van Gough.

My inspiration ...

My inspiration comes from everyday life and the people in it. It is truly amazing the things you will see if you just open your eyes.

Trucker's Doll She sat underneath the apple tree watching the sunset begin it's vibrant decent into the tall maples in the distance. It was a warm June evening. The flowers in perfect bloom, the vegetable garden quickly growing with excitement, the apple tree dropping delicious gifts of juice.
