: About Me

I stumbled across Helium by accident and pure curiosity. I'm still trying to find my bearings as a writer and I hope to grow and learn as much as I can here.
I really enjoy oil painting, and really any kind of art medium I can get my hands on. I have a freakishly broad taste in music ranging from classical to techno to hard rock to jazz to anything else with an interesting or catchy beat that I can blast in the car.
I'm still not quite sure what I want to be when I "grow up." I'm obsessed with forensic shows and am considering going after a criminal justice degree, but my true passion lies with my creativity. If I'm not making art in some form I'm left unfulfilled.
I'm not sure what all to include in this section, so I'll just conclude with saying I also enjoy candle-lit dinners and long walks by the beach... wait- this isn't a dating service? No? Damn. Well, scratch that last part then.

was to drive a fast car and become an actress.

My favorite memory ...

is when my Dad pushed me on my swing high enough to grab leaves from the top of a nearby tree.

Why I write ...

I write to ease the constant hammering of my overly-creative imagination.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

I'm watching the cursor blink, and listening to my dog scratch around downstairs.

My first job ...

sucked, as did I'm sure most everyone else's.

My best moment ...

isn't specific. It was a series of moments when I was the most confident I've ever been.

My inspiration ...

changes daily.
