I am a student of life and attend the University of Oregon. I am a Senior at the UofO a full time student, and mother, and My greatest love is my children and my greatest work. I have PTSD, am a hormonally challenged middle aged beauty. I am majoring in Sociology and then on to a masters in teaching. I think children are the best human beings because they are honest and willing to love unconditionally.

Drowning- treading water til your arms
ache- legs heavy, water surrounds me
everything looks vivid, colors
the smells on the breeze- warm earth,grass
sending you messages you can be at ease
let go- so tired
I don't want to... must hang on
a little bit longer, limbs heavier
sinking downward- little by little
giving into exhaustion I let the current take my body
down into the depths, bobbing- shifting-turning I feel
air expelling until there is nothing left-no sights, no
sound. quietly laying on the bottom- like the mossy rocks
that carpet the river bottom green- I am now part of...
