About me - Emily Wickersham

About me

I'm a retired attorney with a special passion for the stock market.  I have a great deal of experience in investing. Over the last 20 years, I've managed several portfolios totalling over 1 million dollars and have extensive knowledge of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and ETFs.  My finance writing specializes in making the stock market understandable to the ordinary person.

I'm a fanatical indoor and outdoor gardener, enjoy drawing and painting, and am  involved in amateur theater. My  favorite websites are amazon.com, smartmoney.com and www.aggs.org. My nonfiction has been published by Greenprints magazine, BackHome magazine, and Writer's Journal.  I have also sold several short stories.

I have written extensively for the web, and my work has been featured on several finance and garden websites.
