In my twenty-five years that are considered so few by so many and so many by others, I have had experiences as a teacher, student, musician, athlete, traveler, truck driver, information technology technician and receptionist. I stand like the Collosus at Rhodes astride the gap in the computer world between PC and Apple users. I revel in political debate, and fervently wish that anybody on either side of the aisle could figure out what to do about the educational system in America. Education is the key. The youth of today will become our nation in the future.
After twenty-five years in New England, I am now a graduate student at Indiana State University. We'll see how the Midwest treats me.

Over the last thirty years, the development of mobile music listening devices has served to place growing social barriers between people in public places. We have seen the "boombox" and "Walkman" of the 1980's become the "Discman" and the "Minidisc" of the 1990's and welcomed in the new millennium with its "iPods", "Zunes", "Zen"s and all the others.
