I am a middle aged married woman with four children and seven grandchildren. I am an educator by profession and a life long learner by choice. I am involved in my church, school and children's' lives. I support my husband in every choice he makes and love him dearly. I am a publish poet and won the editors choice award in 2006. My beliefs are strong yet I am open minded in that not everyone sees life the same way. I believe in tolerance and following the golden rule.

Having been an educator for the last fifteen years, I can say I have seen many different reasons that can be blamed on why there has been a "decline" in education. It is my belief that education has not declined. Teachers still have high expectations for their students. It is our society that has declined. In making life better for everyone, we have forgotten the beliefs that this great country was founded on.
