Major movie buff, history nut, World War II history, lover of non-conventional historical fiction and non-fiction, and I especially love ballroom dancing.
I am an Army brat-spent my teens in Paris, France and Casteau, Belgium, and I have vacationed in Barcelona, Spain, Reynosa, Mexico, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Williamsburg, Virginia, Gatlinburg, Tennessee (14 times),Washington, D.C., Virginia Beach, North Carolina & Normandy Beach, France. . . and I am tired of hotels.
I speak good Spanish, read good French, know a little German, Norwegian and Italian. I am also fascinated with Eastern European culture & cuisine because my paternal great-grandfather emigrated to the United States in the 1870's, at the time when the German Empire started its climb into power.
I am also "into" medicine and nursing. I love to write, have published poetry, general articles, and I am in the process of writing a novel.
