About me

Right now, I've been at my job at Clear Channel Radio for just over a year and I'm making some progress. My first foray into outside sales has been interesting to say the least, but it's definitely been a worthwhile experience. New people and situations to deal with all the time. Also living with my girlfriend Sarah for the first time ever. Living with a girl I'm not related to that is. It's also been a challenging but very rewarding experience. I love her to pieces and we manage to have a lot of fun together really no matter what the setting. I'm approaching my 3rd full year in Hawaii, and at this juncture, I'm thinking that moving back to the mainland is becoming more and more attractive. Probably stick it out another 12 months or so before I make that decision, work plays a factor, as does my personal life, but one more year certainly seems doable and a good benchmark to make some kind of decision. Long story short though, this is an expensive and challenging place to live and work. Being away from family is tough, saving money is next to impossible, and getting used to some of the social prejudices that are inherent to the local gentry here are all things that make going back that much more attractive. I'm thankful to have had this experience, but I'll be thankful when it's all said and done too, whenever that may be.
