About me - Jim Bradley

About me

I am a Scottish male, whose main inspiration, motivation and support is my wife, the love of my life.

Having been employed within the the health and social care sector for the last twenty two years, I would have preferred to be a full time writer. I am now taking more serious steps towards that goal and Helium is one avenue that allows me to explore that and improve my writing in the process.

With some small publising successes to date, in a nursing trade journal and a humoros article in a local newspaper, I know I have the ability to achieve publication. My writing does need polished however.

In addition to the articles here, I have also compiled several articles in my blog site and I occasionally blog on both my website and myspace site.

Mankind has a long history of making things bend to its will. We have blasted our way through mountains to lay railroad track, dug tunnels beneath the sea to make roads and lay cables, sucked the lifeblood oil out of the veins of the Earth and converted it to poisonous fumes and, latterly, we have gouged great suppurating sores in the Earths surface and filled them with our garbage and our toxic nuclear waste.
