: About Me

I was born as the sixth and the last kid of my parents, on a cold early morning of October, in a small village, on the banks of river Indus, known as Makhad Sharif in the province of the Punjab in Pakistan (Asia).

I received education in Lahore-the city of colleges and the capital of the Punjab- and worked in Karachi- the largest sea-port city of Pakistan. I did bachelor's in political science and economics from the Forman Christian College, Lahore, and a master's in business education program, sponsored by the Indiana University, Bloomington, USA at the Punjab University.

I worked in major national and multi-national companies operating in Pakistan in banking, cigarettes, plastics, auto batteries and paints and progressed to become the Chief Executive of a corporation.

I am now self-employed providing management consultancy, corporate research and e-commerce services, onsite and online, from Resource Management Group, ranked amongst the top on Google, the World's largest search engine.

Writing is a passion for me. I started writing on major national and international issues in leading newspapers, while in college as a freshman. I still write letters, comments and op-ed in top newspapers in Pakistan and the US. I also penned several articles on professional topics.

I am very well-read, do Internet surfing a lot and can write on almost any topic under the sun.

I enjoy music, movies, talk shows, travelling, socializing, and reading books, magazines and newspapers. In my younger days, I was quite an enthusiastic stamp collector and fond of penfriendship around the world. You can find my favourite songs at http://myunforgettablesongs.blogspot.com.

I have been actively involved in several community organizations and also formed the Citi Help Line, Good Governance Forum, Good Governance Council. I share thoughts, ideas and views with people on Yahoo! Groups, MySpace, Orkut, Twitter, Facebook.

I have been actively engaged in backstage politics interacting with the big bosses of almost major political parties and stakeholders.

I take pride in being a man who stood up to face phenomenal challenges in life right from childhood to old age with courage, confidence and conviction and, above all, indomitable faith in Allah, the Most Magnificent and the Most Merciful.
