Hi my name is Rob. I am married, have a 6 year old daughter, and a baby boy due soon (as of Aug 2007!).
I work as a librarian, but my passion is for music. I play guitar, write and perform my own material - which is heavily influenced by the progressive rock bands of the 1970s.
My favourite musicians and bands include King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis (with Peter Gabriel!)...
I also have a passion for reading, occasionally writing (I do nowhere near enough of this!), and TV and film. I love British television, particularly comedy series from the 70s - including George and Mildred, Are You Being Served?, Fawlty Towers, and the Goodies. My favourite TV show however is Doctor Who (especially as played by Patrick Troughton, Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker). To a lesser extend I also like Blake's 7. I enjoy the new series of Doctor Who (glad its back in production!) - but in my opinion its nowhere near as good.
Cheers

With young children as well most spare time is spent on domestic duties, the bulk of my time is spent at work 11 - 12 hours a day (including travel) 5 days a week. I like to spend more time having fun with my wife and kids, more time practicing my guitar, preparing for the next gig, or writing and recording some new mu...
