Take a journey.....

Some how I stumbled onto Helium, weird how these things happen ...eh?
I'm pretty low on the Totem pole, where my writing experience is but we have to start somewhere.

Mainly growing up consisted of writing poetry, but I don't post too much poetry due to that being on a more personal level.
I don't mind just jotting down creative writing every now and again though.

I think I like writing here at Helium because I feel like it gives me a voice.
If you can understand me being the "Domestic Goddess" that I am, then you can better understand the phrase..."lives under a rock".
I've pretty much isolated myself from many people I once knew.
It's helped me to be a better mother though, having to become a mother at age 17.

My second son was simmering in my mommy oven about 8 months on my 21st birthday.
I did a little wine tasting in the fabulous Cave Winery here in Sainte Genevieve, beautiful goldfish pond, serene bridge.
They are known well for their wine here.

Having my two boys came quick and quite easy, next came baby Willow.
My beautiful baby girl. I think I will change my writing name to Magdalena Willow, to dedicate to her..."Love you peaches!"

"Hmmm", summing it all up, we could write a book, a very long book, call it..."My Life Story",(((Giggles))).
The Stork dropped me in St. Louis city, lived there for 10 years of my life. Migrated to a lil ol town called Piedmont, population like 2,400. Made me a mixed mutt, 10 years in the city then 6 years in the sticks.
Well I landed here in Sainte Genevieve, the first French settlement West of the Mississippi river.
I cry for the Indians lost, bloody, Trail of Tears* It Kills me.
I feel the blood in my veins and the spirits around me. I sometimes see visions of my Ancestors in the skies, and National & Global radars. Sometimes it feels like Limbo is all around us, people prying over your shoulder.
Moving on...

Back to the writing, well if you've read my articles you know that I am not as articulate as many of the wondrous writers here at Helium.
I think I prefer to captivate the audience on a more down to Earth level. I do how ever need to work on extending my vocabulary. (((Giggles)))...
I got excited when they chose to add the word "ain't" into the dictionary, as a word! LOL
Well I'm a working progress as we all are:)

On a final note...
Following these paths in life, hoping to seek out beauty & knowledge, enough to get me through whatever will be the misery, treachery.
All the things I do, may they be good works and mean something.

*May we all be blessed*

Change in any form can invite many different aspects into your life and the life all around us. Many people enjoy having a sacred way of life though and are very uneasy when it comes to change. They don't like surprises and are very stuck in their ways.My Grandmother for example, God bless her soul. The old fashion woman is impossible sometimes. She still has her head stuck back in the 1950s and has what I perceive as horrible life style patterns. I can't even get her to try a new herb on her food when cooking, that should clear my point there.Me on the other hand, I prefer to test any wate...
