: About Me

I am 25 years old and a recent graduate of Indiana University. I have lived in Indiana all of my life, and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Don't get me wrong though, because I would love to travel the world, as I am always willing to learn about people, different cultures, and most importantly, myself. Education is very important to me, on many levels.

I recently moved to Clarksville, Indiana, after working as an English teacher in Shelbyville, Indiana. I have taught English for a year and a half, and although I love teaching and helping children, I'm not sure if it's my lifelong career path. As I said earlier, I am constantly striving to learn about myself. I have found that I have a passion for writing and standing up for the issues that I believe in the most.

On a less serious note, I'm a major goofball! I love hanging out with my friends and family, dancing, and watching movies. My favorite genres are sci-fi, comedy, and horror, but I tend to like the older stuff more. They just don't make 'em like they used to!

I'm also a huuuuge sports fan! I am absolutely nuts about the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts... both are going all the way this season baby!

As for other things that tickle my fancy, I love to cook, and I will read just about anything, especially books by Orwell and Bradbury. I also enjoy reading fashion and beauty magazines. I CAN be a girly girl and still have some intelligence! It's so much fun to find new things that you're interested in. There's never a dull moment that way.

was to change people's lives and make a difference somehow.

because writing is my passion, and it is the only way to let the world know where I stand.

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, a great novel about finding truth and purpose in a media obsessed culture.

My first job ...

was telemarketing. I absolutely loathed that job, and I was terrible at it. I didn't believe in what I was saying or selling. Not a recipe for success.

My best moment ...

so far, is graduating from college.

My inspiration ...

is God, my family, friends, and too many wonderful writers to list.

For as long as I can remember, Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, has been one of my favorite places to visit. If you are a fan of movies, as most people are, then this is sure to be an unforgettable part of your visit to central Florida.
