I am the woman in the apartment, the man in the garden, the African-American standing in line, and the Caucasian serving the coffee. I am the young falling in love with the guy next door, and I am the old burying the love of my life.

I am a writer and my purpose is to express the moments in the lives of those who you know nothing about while at the same time expressing the moments in the lives you only know about.

This is a love affair for me- the coming together of the writer and the words. I hope you enjoy the fruit of this union.

Many mistakenly believe that an artist's sole purpose is to create music, literature, art, etc that is pleasing to others.
