: About Me

My name is Sheila Rowell. I live in Michigan and I have a Doctorate degree in Education, Master degree in Reading, a BA in Business Administration, Master degree in Education with an integration of technology emphasis, and I am retired from the Army. I am also pursuing a PhD in Educational Leaderhip in which I am editing my dissertation, and I believe that the journey will definitely benefit all types of individuals, including myself. I am a divorced mother of two adult sons, (my eldest is a recruiter in the Air Force, and the youngest is in the Army).

I am presently teaching English, tutoring in the college's writing success center at a local community college for now.I am a publuished author and I write children's books, spiritual motivational books, novels, and poetry. I am presently working on a novel, short stories & poetry book, and I have a poetry book that is in the production stage and should be complete within the month. I use bookemon.com to create some children's books online and it also provides me with a tool to help parents and teachers interact with children in a fun way while creating books together and learning at the same time. I have a Mentor Michigan organization called LEFTBOOS.ORG (Literacy Enhnacement For the Betterment of Our Society), and the website is located at rowellss.community.officelive.com, where I tutor and mentor all types of learners in literacy building skills, homework help in other subject areas, and MS Office help.

I am also a fashion designer (sketcher not seamstress). I look forward to exploring this great adventure with each and everyone here.

“Can you feel the rain as it drops slowly atop your head?” Can you feel the rain as it drops slowly atop your head? As I kneel down in meditation, my mind welcomes the warmth from the dripping streams of water as I take a deep breath and welcome the refreshing sensation of life as it rejuvenates my spirit while cleansing my attic from the cluttered frustration that lurked its edges, that also re-sealed the foundation of my soul, and brought me back to a more stable and vibrant entity to move forward. try it; the time spent is worth more than you will ever know.
