Summer time usually means swimming. Boats and floating toys are great and fun summer crafts for kids. It can keep them busy while you get ready for that trip to the lake. Popsicle sticks are great for making little rafts. Use kabob sticks for a mast and let them make their own flags/or sails. Always remember to watch smaller children, or make sure your children swim. Boats do sail out sometimes. I have children make fireworks pictures with glitter, glitter glue, and anything else we can find that's "sparkly". Summer time is carnival time.
