A semi-retired woman/teacher is now plunging into a different pond, making her skills work to promote herself and others for the good of many. For me the world is one big classroom and that there is no end to one's learning. I hope to learn and earn from this site although I know that Paypal is not available in our country but I am thinking in terms of the future. I am hopeful that one day I will be able to finally receive some income here. I am willing to wait.

Not anymore. Poets were useful then back in the day when television, movies, books, the internet & other modern-day gadgets were non-existent. Kings and even commoners looked forward to the narrations of bards which served to amuse everyone around. However, bards and poets have long died when radio and television became necessary items in homes. Poetry is not for everyone. I know that there are quite a few people today who still write and read poetry, but this group of people are slowly becoming extinct. The genre no longer works in today's society that is caught up in the rat race....
