: About Me

I am a passionate person who enjoys life and adventure including acquiring knowledge. I enjoy rappelling off cliffs and the highest ever repel was approx 80 feet. I would love to rappel off the CN Tower I think it would be a rush.

I am presently a Law Enforcement Officer specifically (Probation & Parole Officer), I enjoy what I do because I have wanted to do this since my late teens early twenties. I am blessed to be able to do the thing I love.

I have two Bachelor of Arts Degrees (Psychology & Women Studies) a Masters in Education. and will be continuing on with my Doctorate, which I would like to do in Clinical /Forensic Psychology in order to become a Psychologist. I am also a seasonal Professor teaching in both the Justice Studies Program and Forensics Practice Program.

In closing, I continue to set goals for myself and continue to achieve them. I strive to be the best I can be and ask nothing less of myself. I love writing and I am still a student in this arena. I hope to learn from those experienced and talented writers I have seen thus far with Helium.

I enjoy writing for Helium because its a site for serious writers. In addition, its about real life that matters and issues, which affect our world.

I have not one but several - hunting with my brothers/ long trips with my parents/ shopping with my grandmother and listening to the lessons she taught me about life

I enjoy watching any science/history shows, I enjoy all types of music but classical (mozart) is my fav. also love non-fiction science books

Recently realizing that I will be commencing my Doctorate and this for me is a very big deal. This is a goal I have dreamt about my entire life and it's finally here.. Also everyday as I wake up.
