I am a mommy of a beautiful little girl, and the wife of a wonderful, talented artist. We live/work/play on the coast of sunny, (though miserably hot) Florida. I enjoy reading, scrap-booking, drawing and learning. I love to walk on the beach first thing in the morning, visit every museum I can, read my daughter every book in her book shelf and creatively invent special times to spend exclusively with my husband. I have huge goals set for myself in life, but I am really enjoying the ups and downs along the way.

Weathering the Storm as a Teenage Breastfeeding Mom
Like most new mommies, I went into first time motherhood a little confused and pretty scared. I wanted to make sure that everything I did was right. I created standards for myself from things a major as disciplinary means and schedules to things as minor as baby food and diaper choices before my daughter was even born. These standards were set by watching other mothers, listening to advise on TV, reading every single baby prep book I could get my hands on and by listening to incessant mom/mother-in-law tips.
