Born and raised in the Boston area. Went to school at Boston College. Went to work in accounting. Found that accounting didn't agree with me so I went hiking. On the Appalachian Trail. For five months. Ow.
Decided to write about it, mostly just to let my feet heal. Moved in with my mother and wrote a book. Found that writing a book is actually kinda hard.
Met a chick from Canada. I fell in love with her. She fell in love with me, even though I was an unemployed, mildly insane 30-something living in his mother's basement.
Read that last line again.
Decided such incredible good fortune couldn't be ignored. Left my mom's place and moved up to Canada to be with said chick. Eh.
After several battles with Canadian authorities over work permits, illegal left turns and soft drink purchases I retreated to Vermont. Now working at the Von Trapp lodge in Stowe, which means I essentially owe my job to Julie Andrews and a few catchy tunes.
Still trying to figure it all out right now. The Canadian chick still loves me though. Still trying to figure that out too. Until I do I guess I'll just write some weird articles. :)

My wife and I are the perfect couple. I’m not trying to brag, that’s just who we are. Yup, we’re that couple you see walking down the street, hand-in-hand, with smiles so happy and serene you just know you’re inferior. The pinnacle of perfection. Sometimes my wife and I will curl up in front of a fire, drink hot cocoa, gaze into each others’ eyes and revel in our wonderfulness. But don’t think it’s easy. A successful marriage takes work, guys. Hard work. And if you’re not willing to put in that work y...
