Married, father of-at last count-seven exceptional children. Determined that cause was the water in Provo, Utah. Cause of what? You decide.

Have written off and on for years, but never published until 2005. Several years ago began studying dramatic writing, particularly screenplays. Have written two screenplays, one full length stage play and one short stage play. Outlines and plot points for a couple others, plus outline for non-fiction book.

Jazz, blues, folk and classical musician, guitar and string/electric bass.

Graduate of Brigham Young University, BA in International Relations and philosophy. MBA.

Taught marketing and database concepts (talk about consorting with the enemy) at university level for a few years. Really enjoy teaching, forget the grades.

My passion is ...

Enlightening minds-including my own-with truth. Is that a pleonasm? How could one be enlightened with anything but truth? I guess it's been claimed before, but yet to be proven.

I know too much about ...

I figure there's only one thing that I know more than teenagers, that I don't know anything. Does that mean I know too much about nothing?

Why I write ...

To Improve existing body of writing with exceptional insight, presented in interesting and accessible presentation, mixed with as much truth as I can find. Also need some extra $$$ to pay for horses.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

Bits of news-not mainstream, books about contemporary dangers like religions of peace who wish to convert the world by force and murder their dissenters, training horses, corrupt and dysfunctional governments, ancient and modern prophets.

When my kids tell me thanks for always being there for them, for trying to be a good dad. (No, it doesn't happen very often, and rarely before they reach 19.)

My inspiration ...

The one perfect man who walked among us, voluntarily picked up our hefty tab, and beckons with his hand, "Follow me."

We're Not Gonna Lose Those Men! Ironically, despite the significant number of data points available for such an analysis, it doesn't happen nearly often enough.
