I'm originally from Scotland and now work as a Presbyterian pastor in Knoxville, Tennessee. I've been writing for many years and have had religious articles, poems, and devotions published in various books, magazines, and blogs throughout the world.
I've hosted religious and political radio shows, have interviewed national authors, and spoken at motivational gatherings. I'm an ex-alcoholic, who has come up out of the gutter and conquered many struggles with life. I'm working on a book about how people of faith can overcome challenges.
I'm married to an elementary school teacher, who keeps me in line.
I've two daughters - one at VT in Blacksburg; the other at UT in Knoxville.
I like to write stories, songs, and articles; play guitar and sing the lead vocals in a Scottish band called Glenfinnan. I also like to paint and draw stained glass abstracts. You can find some of them on my flickr pages at http://www.flickr.com/photos/traqair57/
I love to fish but haven't the time.
I write an international daily devotional blog called "Heaven's Highway" at www.glenkirk.blogspot.com. I also draw satirical cartoons about politics in America which you can see on my "Pushing the Envelope" site at www.stushietoon.blogspot.com
