I come from a family of storytellers. I learned to read and write at an early age and fell in love with writing from the start. I have kept a journal for most of my life and then I discovered blogging. I have had a blog since the fall of 1998.
I was born in Massachusetts, and then I lived for many years in Oregon and briefly in southern California. Now I live in the Washington, DC area. I have a Bachelor's degree in English and I am currently working for a foundation.
Of course I love to write, but knitting is my other passion. I also paint, sew, cook fabulous vegetarian meals, bake home made bread and consume as much chocolate as I can get away with.
I am also a yoga enthusiast and I am preparing to take my first 200-hour yoga teacher training course.
