If you were to judge me by my cover you would guess that I probably couldn't read, but open me up and you'd realize I'm a new story on every page. First thing is know the host, yes the person throwing the party. Reason being is that most people showed up because this person is having a party. Even if you don't know the host and your just a random party go'er find the person he or she and introduce yourself. That way not only are you seen talking to the person who made all the wonderful festivities happen but now your not a stranger in someone's house, so when the house gets to full and its time to kick random people out you most likely you won't be one of those random people.
