Where I am from, dog-fighting is illegal. If Michael Vick took part in an illegal practice, then yes, he is a criminal. Personally, I believe that dog-fighting is reprehensible. I speak from first-hand knowledge because most of my husband's family is involved in either dog-fighting or breeding pit bulls for the purpose of fighting.
