I graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and mathematics. I also studied computer science from 1998 to 2000 at SUNY Geneseo. Somewhere in there, I also earned a black belt in the martial arts at Fred Villari's Studios of Self-Defense. I have also published a few short stories and a research paper.
Currently, my interest tends to oscillate between martial arts, philosophical/political writing, and fantasy writing.
I live in Plattsburgh, NY, U.S.A. on the shore of Lake Champlain. I've never been married and I have no children. I think I saw Champy once, though I'm sure very few people will believe me.

The question of the existence of God has been debated throughout the ages. Today, there is a movement to teach "Intelligent Design" in the classroom alongside the "Theory of Evolution." Personally, I'm not against the teaching of Intelligent Design, but neither do I have an overriding compulsion to see it taught. I'd much rather see classes on epistemology (How do you know that you know?) taught in high school. That could be an eye-opening experience for many people.
