About me - Peter Clay

About me

Ever since I was 2yrs old I have been travelling Australia and Asia. As I've grown older the need to travel has only grown to the point where I have studied Tourism, worked in Travel and travelled various parts of the world.

The problem I have thou is, working in travel actually doesn't let you travel,a small part they didn't tell you when I signed up for the job. So I chucked in the 9 to 5 and have hit the road ever since with the intent of hopefully exploring the many cultures and people that share this world with me, perhaps even finding the job that will let me travel along the way.

I love writing and sharing my experiences in the small hope that everyone on the couch reading this gets out there and sees the fantastic world that we have around us.

Drop me a comment if u have any questions I'm more than willing to help out if I can, or even better if there is anything you think I should see.
Who knows where I will end up (hopefully not in a hospital bed with malaria), or what I will see next (hopefully not a prison cell wall).

In the simplest and rawest form, you are the Judge and Jury of your own decisions whilst travelling, even more so as a Independent traveller as your choices are yours alone. Ethics in regards to backpacking is such a diverse subject that a thesis could be written on it. It can delve into su...
