i am usually out at work at this time of day, unfortunately(depending on which way you look at it!) I lost my job last week. On halloween in fact, making me one of the few people who are able to say they were fired by the wicked witch of the west! I wonder whether the boss grasped the irony of her costume, I rather doubt she did, one could never accuse her of a sparkling sense of humour! Anyway, I now find myself looking for genuine excuses not to do the housework, and what a perfect excuse this is. I have 5 other reasons why so much housekeeping needs doing in the first place and their names are Nia(19 months old), Annie aged 7, Rudy aged 9, Amos 13 and number one son Jack who was 17 on Monday last. You could probably imagine the scene of carnage masquerading as my ironing/laundry pile, Kim and Aggie would run a mile! No really I'm not that bad, I am in fact a closet tidy person its just that as soon as the housework gets a left for more than a day or so it gets quite out of hand, at this point I should and will from now on (honest!) take the bull by the horns and deal with it but in reality I procrastinate wildly until the task is of mammoth proportion. What I really need is a cleaner/ cook/domestic fairy godmother! I'm sure there must be such a person no doubt they charge a fortune as such, which brings me back to my original problem- I now have no income! Oh well I've always been a frustrated writer so maybe this is the kick up the backside I was waiting for.!
