I escaped the corporate world,so to speak, and am working at home with my husband. We are "landscape" artists, but not in the usual sense. We create miniature settings for models of all sorts; figures, vehicles, etc. We both create the base for our customers to put their items on and we make complete dioramas.
I am a bookaholic. I love history, archeology, and well-written crime and political thrillers.
Analysis is one of my fortes, so I am always looking for the why of things, not just the who or what.
As a former home-schooler, I am not real tolerant of the public or even private school system, although there are some gems out there to be found.
Organic gardening is something I have been involved with since childhood, having a father that insisted on composting and using natural methods of weed control. That wasn't real common in the sixties. Of course, the natural method of weed control was having us kids pull all the weeds. Soon, I hope to move to a warmer climate and raise alpacas and sell organic fruits and veggies, as well as the alpaca fiber and yarn. I sound like an old hippie don't I?
Politically, I am probably closest to being a Christian libertarian, but haven't been real pleased with the candidate choices.
Psychologically, I am an introvert, and find solitude a blessing instead of something to fear.
That's about it. I hope you enjoy my "blurbs".
