: About Me

Man or Woman? Who am I? Only who I think I am not who I see in the bloody mirror. I live outside of Austin, Texas with my two dogs and two aging cats near a hill country lake. It's so beautiful and quiet where I live that I feel like screaming and tearing off my clothes, but that would defeat the whole purpose of living here, now wouldn't it (nor would my good, Christian neighbors appreciate it...)? I new at writing "out loud." I have been writing all my life, but never have attempted to publish anything. Well, look out world. Here I come!

I am an ordinary person with a hero's heart I have an ordinary mind with thoughts that set me apart I have an ordinary body with blood that flows of poet's ink I have two ordinary arms forged out of mighty Herculean strength I have two ordinary eyes that see beyond your soul I have an ordinary love that is deeper than can be told I have ordinary dreams carved with Sappho's knife I shall die an ordinary death yet lived an extraordinary life
