: About Me

Mary Rose-Sellers is a freelance writer and photographer. Mary started her writing career in 2007 when she retired after 25 years from working as a sales/events coordinator in the marketing department for a multinational corporation.

Mary writes articles for www.Helium.com, she is a member of the newcomers club in the area, where she visits local restaurants, participates at events taking pictures and writing about them at local newspapers.  She is  also a member of the Partners In Crime book club, where she reads mystery novels and writes reviews for the local library. She has written 3 short children's stories and currently is working on a spy novel taking place in the 60's.  Additionally, Mary is researching and writing her parent's story since there is so much history in their lives. 

Besides writing being Mary's passion, she also enjoys photography. Mary had one of her pictures published in "The Ultimate Gardener" book that's being sold nationwide.

An avid cook, always trying new recipes, Mary also enjoys reading, drawing and playing with her little white shih tzu.

I enjoy it. I find it fascinating to look up new words, and expressing myself through writing.

Spy novels and anything about writing. Watching old movies and listening to Sade, Dean Martin, Moby, Pink Floyd, Sting, Dido, Blue Man Group, Dave Mathews and it goes on and on...
