About me - Uncle Ludwig

About me

I am a trained musician.

I teach about computers and technology.

I direct a choir.

I love to read anything and everything, and listen to recorded books when I can't stop to read.

I have two grown daughters that I dearly love. They gave me a Wii for Christmas and I'm already being slowly sucked into the video game vortex!

I've just started riding a "crank forward" bicycle for health and commuting.

When reading others' articles, I appreciate a balanced point of view along with an effort to be comprehensive. When writing my own articles, I try to avoid echoing others' viewpoints while considering just how to organize what I want to say. I motivate myself by knowing two things: that the knowledge is out there somewhere already, and that I have an obligation to connect it in my own way so that others after me can do the same.

It was easy to feel good that Barack Obama is a member of a minority, of course, and that he's young, and a family man. It was also a delight to consider that we might once again have a convincing, coherent speaker representing the United States on the world's stage. Certainly, his educational resume and published b...
